Is Quentin Jackson considered a loss? He was a decent recruit for y'all. I'm guessing losing the two big guys (Lukas Bergang and Benas Griciunas) isn't that big of a deal. Still Mark Price has had quite a few defections the last two years now. Obviously, Davis and White are the main two guys for Charlotte but they do need some help on the court.

Price has been a disaster.

We have only one player committed for next season and he's not even a starter in juco.

While not a huge loss right now, Jackson would have been a solid player in CUSA.

I'm much more concerned with the fact that we have all five starters back....and that's it.

Seven scholarship openings in March. That's not great. Unless he pulls some big time graduate transfers, we're in big trouble.

True. Clyde Drexler at Houston was also a disaster. However, Danny Manning is doing a decent job, first at Tulsa, and now at Wake Forest.

I've got no issue with his coaching, but his inability to recruit is baffling.

Especially those with zero recruiting experience. Still hope things work out with Price but as of now it isn't looking all that great.

Starting to feel like Price was nothing but a splash hire to distract everyone from Judy's ineptitude in dealing with our last 2 coaches.

Larry Brown is another great example of a former NBA player doing a terrific job as a college coach.

RE: Charlotte losing a few basketball players
Usually NBA players just do not make great coaches for whatever reason.....Always a few exceptions but probably my guess 80% do not pan out...A lot of it may just be his name and him being used to his name carrying him far and does not work as hard vs a young no name coach trying to establish himself....Not saying Price is spoiled but certainly he probably thought recruiting would be easier then it is and or coaching college basketball...For sure is not easy...
