Both teams seem to be turning it over without a ton of defensive pressure. Could be first game jitters, but if this keeps up on Friday - we'll be sitting just fine.

And slowing down each team in transition will be key. The Bearcats are usually fine at that, so I'm anxious to see it happen against one of these teams. They each seem to like to run.

Kstate lost home and away to Iowa State.
@ISU the score was 70-65. @KSU the score was 87-79.

Wake Forest lost to XU on December 17 at XU 68-65. But XU was a different team in December than when UC played them.

UC needs to get off to a good start shooting...they were laying bricks early v SMU, panicked and started pressing rather than letting the game come to them...
and we know how that turned out.

Wake doesn't play a lick of "D". K-State getting about anything they want, they do uptempo on the break which would bother us. I'd like to play Wake, they don't rebound..

Wake's "defense" is really really poor.

Yes. I am concerned UC gets bounced in the first game if it is KState.
Kstate willl have a game under their belt and no tourney jitters.
UC can't have a slow start.

Have to hope all of the quick turnaround travel and time change from CS to ES to PS messes with their body clocks.

Certainly anything can happen, but I think we will TCOB on Friday against either of these two teams.

I haven't checked the numbers but just from my observations wake is really poor in their interior defense. Collins worries me though.

I went to see KSU a month or so ago when the played Toledo. UT blew them out and they are not great.

Both of these teams are pretty poor on the defensive end. K state has so many layups it's like a walk thru.

Think I'd rather play wake. They play no defense and KSU has a good defense and is giving them some trouble.
