Not many tickets for the schools in Greenville
Only 450 available for Carolina.

Following a regular season ACC Championship, UNC Men's Basketball is headed to the NCAA Basketball Tournament! Next weekend Carolina heads to Greenville, SC to take on Texas Southern in the first round.

The majority of NCAA Tournament tickets are distributed by the NCAA and each individual site. As usual in opening weekends of the tournament, Carolina will receive only 450 tickets to allocate to the team and entire University community (Rams Club members included). Unfortunately, with this small allotment of tickets and anticipated high demand, we will not be able to offer the opportunity to request tickets to the entire Rams Club membership.

Should the Tar Heels advance to the Sweet 16 in Memphis, we will communicate an update on ticket availability.

For more information about NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament Tickets, please call the UNC Ticket Office (800.722.4335) or The Rams Club (919.843.2000).

Your support has been a vital part of Carolina's success - THANK YOU and GO HEELS!

Who gets to sell the other 12K+ tickets besides the teams? And where does the money go to?

This is actually an improvement. It used to be only 200 per school for the subregionals. This may be the first year it's 450. This is the first year Duke has offered ANY tickets to ANY Iron Dukes to the subregionals. There are far more tickets available to the schools for the regionals and far more than that for the Final Four.
