He might have been. He also inherited a difficult situation. I'm not sure where the blame lies. The problems seem so deep there is probably plenty of blame to go around. This team hasn't been the same since the announcement Dedric was leaving.

Started before that.

Yep. The last UCF game. Well maybe the night before that game.

What BS man. Tubby just sits there. He literally just sits there. Opposing teams go on 20+ point runs and he still ******* just sits there and calls no timeout. It is as if he is ASKING to be fired. Cal would call a TO after a 4 point run to STOP IT. What we have here, my friends, is not a situation of inheriting anything difficult. Teams with far less talent play far better. This is due to poor coaching, the players not giving a **** and the administration sitting idly by, just letting it happen.

Kick every player off the team. Fire the coaches andf rebuild from scratch. Go to the middle of the worst parts of the city of Memphis and poach the best streetballers within an 18-22 age range, ask them if they are proud to represent Memphis. If they are good and the answer is yes, let them walk on and lets field of team of hardass Memphis streetballers who actually give a damn and play tough.

Over and out.

The play by play guy said the same thing about our hof coach just sitting there-----you are right about not giving a **** ---but our hof coach don't give a **** either.

No I am with you. Tubby certainly has a large share of blame. But this is the players too-- they have no dog in them. And the administration. Like I said, plenty of blame to go around. I wouldn't mind never seeing a Lawson in a Memphis uniform again. Burn it to the ground and start over.

The score is currently 51-27. Fall is ON THE BENCH. I goddman guarantee that you could pull the 5 best streeballers from the hood, get them to qualify academically, and they would destroy UCF.

Why, because they know what it means to represent Memphis. They have heart, pride, skills and fight.

These players do not. That is the issue. I am done.

This team was "broken" from the beginning. We have no PG, reliable shooter, post defender or playmaker with the ball. We knew this going into the season. There's no excuse for the drop off late in the year but this team had a low ceiling even if everything went our way. I'm not defending Tubby(or crushing him for that matter) but there's a clear path to us becoming relevant again. We're off to a good start next year with Jamal and Nickelberry. Hopefully, Tubby can bring in a reliable PG and continues to work on what should be a solid 18 class. All doesn't have to be lost.

We had a PG but he changed his mind after the coaching change.

Why are you assuming we will get that solid 18 class. He has shown no ability to connect with the local players and/or coaches. And the one person who does have a connection is stuck in an administrative position and cannot recruit off campus.

A) Let's not open up the Josh can of worms but he underachieved with every roster he had after year 1 so that's not a road you want to go down. Also, if Moore was here, you'd be the one bashing him for shooting under 40% and turning the ball over 2.8 times a game instead of placing any blame on Josh.

B) I didn't assume anything. The opportunity is there to bring in some nice players next year. Good if he brings them in, if he doesn't he should be destroyed.

If Moore was here and shooting under 40%-and turning it over 2.8 per game-----there would be some on here blaming it on Josh whilst he is coaching in Atlanta--smh.

No we blame Josh for about 10-12 other players including a certain point guard that he gave up on thats now averaging double digits at LaSalle with nearly a 3 to 1 assist to turnover ratio

Got a give Tuby a pass on this years team... very little talent, not enough bodies... We were over matched by a good Central Fl team....

Tubby had a chance to correct some if not all of these deficiencies prior to the start of the season.

That was a trademark of Pastner teams. I thought we had overcome that loser mentality earlier in the season - specifically at the UAB game. But it came back big time down the stretch.

Tubby may not be the answer. But I'm still willing to give him 2 full years. At least show promise by this time next year.
