Considering I grew up near Philly, I can tell you Temple is a crime ridden dirt hole. And I love the city...

People are really clamoring to visit Greenville, North Carolina...

People are running for their lives in Philly, literally.

A while back a friend of mine lives up there in north Philly and heard a window breaking downstairs in his town home. He went to investigate and found a hand reaching into his kitchen over the sink. He stabbed them with a steely knife, but he apparently just couldn't kill the beast. Still, he heard quite a scream and steps running away on the sidewalk outside. My sister attended Temple for her PhD and got mugged near campus while sitting in her car at a stoplight. Thankful still for the police officers nearby on stakeout who interrupted with her 'only' losing her purse. I used to love south Philly and games at the Vet, but for all I know north Philly is getting better than it used to be through some much needed gentrification.

Greenville has its' moments in crime as well. I don't know why Gaither chose to leave after a couple of months. We know he's from our area and it may be as simple as wanting to come back. He seems like a good pickup.

For a relatively small town, Greenville had a lot of this. I was only there two years, but people are always getting mugged on 1st street walking home at night. One of my buddies showed up with a black eye one day. Dude walked up, asked him the time, clocked him, grabbed his wallet and rolled. I was lucky enough to find a place right downtown, so basically only had to go downstairs to the bars, or down 5th street to campus. That route is usually pretty safe, unless it's Halloween. Someone always gets stabbed on Halloween.

Below average NFL stats, but his Penn State squads looked pretty solid (53rd and 44th in receiving yards). Well done.

Frisman Jackson had 490 yards and a TD in the NFL and was hired away by the Titans...
