So fire the guy that lost by 40 today and hire back the guy that lost by 30 today? Is that what you want ?

I bet the guy that lost by 40 today, got on the phone and made a tee time-----and the guy that lost by 30 went to work.

and both will be watching basketball from the couch two weeks from today

Yea, but one will be playing golf and watching tv---the other tore-up inside about missing trny--and he will be on the recruiting trail signing top players.

There are two sides to that coin...Hard work does have it's advantages if it comes with talent.

Been a fan 30+ years. He killed the program. Have a nice day.

Add golf to the growing myth list like the hot dog stand and the sno come machine. Some here want Penny to coach. I guess those people don't realize he plays golf too. Bill Belichik and Steve Spurrier are also avid golfers.

Rick Carlisle is an avid golfer but says he does NOT play once season starts.

Donate his salary to support Tiger athletics.

Process > Results

If it's trending up, the new guys gets rope. If it doesn't after year 3....

First year is a pass. Pastner has left the program in far, far worse shape than was handed to him. He has TRASHED the program.

Second year at least NIT

Third year Deep NIT run / maybe make the NCAA tourney

4th year solid NCAA tournament team / Top 25 all year / maybe see second weekend

5th year: NCAA S16 or bust / Top 15 team

I figure we suck next year, we suck less in year 2 and you can see the program really coming together and by year 3 we're a real team again with a legit shot at the NCAA tournament. By year 4 we need to be Top 25 all year.

Still this?

lol

I'm sure we will be better next year when our 5 star is replaced with those plucky 3 star guys. He just needs another full year of recruiting though, right guys? Right?

Well that certainly eliminates Penny. Not sure about Tubby.
