I think the women are hosting at 5:30. I heard Brent saying something about that.

Story on the UT site about Monday's doubleheader. Women at 5:30, men at 8:00.

Adway had 3 rebounds and a block in his 4 minutes.

Not sure I get this after last game.

This game was looking like it was heading in the direction of so many other games we've played in recent years in that house of horrors up there. That 9-0 run to end the half totally changed that.

Seemed to me that Taylor was the only big who 'understood' the zone D and what to do about it. He didn't shoot well but he knew what he was doing & it set up a lot of baskets. Adway looked confused by it & Knapke shied away from it. But that's really the best I've seen the Rockets handle that zone before & Emu announcers after the game noticed that too and seemed terrified at the thought of playing us again. Which is funny 'cause that's pretty much how I always feel about having to play them, no matter haw bad they are.

They absolutely picked it apart on the game at UT.

That 2 -3 zone has worked for EMU but Lauf exploited the "short corner" when the Eagles (nee' Hurons) zone loses it shape and breaks down a little-- they seemed overly preoccupied on Jon Jon slashing the gaps with dribble penetration.
