Congrats on a tremendous career for the former Bronco basketball players turned 9 year NFL veteran.

Joe had one year left on his contract but he doesn't need the money. I've watched Bronco basketball for ALOT of years and Joe was one of the best inside guys (he's in the group with Mike Williams, Tom Cutter, and Paul Griffin) to ever wear a WMU uniform. He always gave 100% and worked hard at both ends of the floor. Dugan and Lamont could learn much from him. "Guard your yard".

I'd put Whittington, Kann, and Reitz all in the same category/group in terms of best bigs we've had in the last 15-20 years. Mike Williams was great but I consider him a different type of player.

What's really amazing is he played Pro in a sport he didn't play in college. The transition from Basketball Center to Football OT is monumental. It's a credit to Reitz that he did it and did it well.

I admire Joe Reitz appreciation of WMU. He has often attended WMU events over the years.
