That's not a ridiculous statement at all, in actuality it makes complete sense.

Interesting that the first two responses are from Cincinnati fans who agree with their coach. If that's the case, maybe the University should take the NCAA to court. Since apparently the Cincinnati fan base has some magic secrets about the NCAA that no one else knows, that should be an easy win in court, right?

I think this is a silly statement. There are biases because of the flawed way in which the committee evaluates teams (using RPI record v. x,y,z as the default), but the committee is pretty consistent with how teams are evaluated that's why so many people can predict with pretty good accuracy.

College basketball and football are businesses. As evidenced by conference realignment.

It would be naive to think tourney seeding is completely free from trying to maximize profits. That's all he's saying.
