Football Schedule Released
http://www.mac-sports.com/news/2017/2/28...74937.aspx

We only have 3 home games before the month of November, including a brutal October where 3 of 4 are on the road and the 1 home game is against WMU.

If the wheels don't fall off, we have a relatively easy finish in November that could make (or break) the season.

I'm assuming WMU on Oct. 21 will be Homecoming. Looks like the only option, unless we wanna go Sept. 23 against Ohio (I doubt).

Agree. @Kentucky, @Toledo and @Army is a rough, rough road trip.

After a nice start (3 games, 2 of which are at home), it gets tough, tough.

Also, I doubt like a bye in Sept. The players are just getting warmed up; weather is nice.

On the other hand, I think the top of the schedule is quite favorable. Charlotte, probably our easiest opponent, at home, then 8 days before going to NJ for Rutgers. Getting a bye in Rutgers between Ohio at home in late September is huge too (Ohio will be coming off Kansas at home during our bye week).

Aim high: 3-0 would be a great start to the season.

Eastern's website confirmed Oct. 21 as Homecoming and Sep. 23 is Band/Hall of Fame Day. 5 weeks to end the season playing during the week.. sheesh.

If things are going well, that October 21 game should have the biggest attendance in over 20 years.

And a 30 year celebration of the Cal Bowl team.
