For as disappointing of a season this has been, this win felt soooo good. Kudos to Raven for being an absolute star tonight. I've never watched a college game where a player scored 50 points before, and I watch a ton of college hoops. Absolutely remarkable.

Amen. I have not seen an EMU team dominate like this since they were up on Michael Finley's Wisconsin at halftime something like 43-10. If anyone remembers, was that the right half-time score?

Toledo loss is HUGE! Was not expecting that...

With 4 teams at 10-7 behind only Akron (possibly 5 if WMU pulls off the win against NIU), the up in the air higher seeding makes it too hard to evaluate the scenarios for EMU. Losing to Buffalo and being swept by Ball St may turn out to be double whammy's for EMU.

But things are looking much better then I was expecting a week ago! Go EMU!!

A win in football and a sweep in hoops. Nice!

Wisconsin definitely did not have 17 (maybe). I am almost certain it was one of these scenarios:
40-13
43-10
50-13
53-10

We need WoodenNickle or Luckeyone- the great historians- to solve this one. Nonetheless, what a different era for EMU basketball, huh?

I just want to put in a plug for Spears.

I've met and talked with him a few times. Very classy, very savvy. Knows collegiate sports and isn't afraid to think outside the box.

IF Heather leaves for bigger pastures, it should take the EMU president about 2 minutes to promote Christian.

Off-topic, I am so proud of my son.

First, he is still a huge EMU fan, which is not easy to do when being inundated with UM and MSU from all directions of media and other kids whose parents actually support their alma maters.

Second, when we started watching in the second half and the score had EMU up by 40, he was extremely excited. But as the excitement wore off a little he said to me, "this is actually kind of sad." I was proud of his sense of compassion. (plus, this sentiment really emphasized the extent of this demolition!! haha!)
