So disgusting.

So Christian too.

And the hospital in question is of course, a "Christian" hospital, and has been accused of banning her from being able to meet with attorneys, speak with her family or even her religious persons. While dying of cancer.

Why the dig at Christianity? I'm not a christian btw. Enforcing immigration has nothing to do with religion. Just seems like misplaced anger to me to blame Christianity.

Reports are coming out that the Adventist Hospital doesn't want to treat her. Noted that she will not be returning to that Hospital. http://www.themarysue.com/ice-removes-de...-hospital/

I'm going to counter this with scripture from the Good Book.

"Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same. For he is God’s minister to you for good. But if you do evil, be afraid; for he does not bear the sword in vain; for he is God’s minister, an avenger to execute wrath on him who practices evil. Therefore you must be subject, not only because of wrath but also for conscience’ sake. For because of this you also pay taxes, for they are God’s ministers attending continually to this very thing. Render therefore to all their due: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, fear to whom fear, honor to whom honor." (Romans 13: 1-7, NKJV)

Great! So no complaints about LGBT marriage laws, mandates for employer provided healthcare, ends to tax deductability for churches, etc...

Because if you're willing to accept the mistreatment of the sick and the poor, based upon 13:1-7, then you should accept it in every case, right?

I love how you always misread what other people post and jump to conclusions. She did not follow the laws of our land so she must be punished accordingly.

Ok, so if a state passes a non-discrimination law, the religious right will just comply with it in every case? And not complain about it?

Im pretty sure that ICE is under obligation to allow someone that is in their custody to seek treatment. Im not going to jump to a conclusion at this point.

RE: ICE takes patient with brain tumor to detention.
Tom is posting lies and fake news again.

The woman with a brain tumor was not taken into detention when she went to the hospital. She was already in detention. The outrageous lies that ice yanked her out of a hospital is a giant lie. And the incenuation that ice apprehended her at the hospital is just more fake news. She has been in detention since she crossed the border in 2015.

The woman has a brain tumor. Ice took her to the hospital for treatment. She is in stable condition now, so she is out of the hospital and back in detention. The hospital and the American tax payer should not pay for her treatment. She can go back to Mexico to get treated.

Now, if tom would like to foot the bill, then I'm ok with the hospital treating her, then ice deporting her back to Mexico.

She was forcibly taken out of the hospital by ICE. The hospital wanted her out. How do we know she is in stable condition now.

The charity hospital should pay for her treatment. They claim to be a religious hospital...

Since when do hospitals that claim to be religious should pay for someone's treatment? Isn't that the libtards' job? I mean that's what y'all preach right? 07-coffee3

If they claim to be following their principles when electing to discriminate against LGBT persons and non-evangelicals in employment in their taxpayer financed/funded facillities....then at least they should be held to religious principles when it comes to money.

Again, lies.

The hospital said she was stable and released her.

She was already in detention and had been for over a year.

You dont get automatic tumor removal treatment, paid for by the american taxpayer or a religious hospital, just because you illegally cross the border.

Everything that was originally reported about this story was a lie. Why must the libturds lie?

Trump is right about the media.

Trump is right about the media.

She was forcibly released without her consent. She was denied access to family and even her religious representative while in the hospital, reportedly by the supposed "Christian" hospital.

Apparently "Christianity" means .... no charity for the non-Americans. Unless its its in 'their' place, and then with inferior service. Praise!

Again, lies. When a person is in detention, her family and lawyers must send notice to ICE that they would like to speak with the person well in advance, and have that petition approved by ICE. They didnt. So they didnt follow the rules for someone who broke the law. Cry me a river. This is all her fault for breaking the law and putting herself in this position.

This is disgusting Tom. Just think about how the US taxpayers, particularly working class stiffs, will suffer the burden of her medical care through higher medical costs at every turn. You're right. Disgusting.

Yet another wild extrapolation straw man. You see the only bad thing here is that they weren't given top level medical care immediately regardless of expense. I see the other side of the coin: this person has a high likelihood of being here specifically to get medical care and NOT pay for it.

This person should be dependent upon charitable medical care. And yes, they would get it. But they wouldn't be seen at (insert megacorp hospital here). They'll just have to deal with that.

This is a "CHRISTIAN" hospital. One that reserves the right to discriminate while being taxpayer supported. They use their supposed "Christian" character selectively. It appears as though they don't want to provide that care.

I see medical care as a right.

Actually most of the civilized world sees medical care as a right.

Texas requires me to pay for Second Baptist's water and sewer bills. The Texas legislature banned the Houston Water Board from charging them for the runoff from their massive parking lots.
