He has been absolutely off the rails on twitter recently, so I kind of figured something was going on with him... Hopefully he gets the help he needs.

JK's parents live about 500 feet from my house -- behind it. There is no "church just down the street". Just might be more to the story than is being presented.

Gotta give it up for Lois Kidd. Some people, who call themselves "Christians", are quick to pass judgment on others. But she, on the other hand, acts more the part IMO, by wishing only the best for JK, as opposed to giving up on him altogether.

In all seriousness though, thoughts and prayers to JK right now. Hopefully this is rock bottom for him and he begins to heal.

Seldom is it good when a former Bearcat is in the news. I see he was the BE Scholar Athlete of the Year so he is not stupid. It's hard to fix stupid but alcohol or drugs can be fixed.

I wonder what he studied at UC. I wonder if he was able to find meaningful work after FB. Too many students leave school without marketable skills. The student and university are equally to blame.

Hope he get the help he needs.

I thought he was working in the Philly area in some sort of investment role. Im wondering if his mental issues are concussion related - I believe he was waived by the Bengals after being on IR with a concussion.

IIRC he worked in commercial real estate sales at one point. I don't know the genesis of his problems, but I do know a lot of people with addiction problems get started with abusing prescription medications from orthopedic injuries. The data shows this happens to people of all education levels, socio-economic class and income levels.

Universities need to stop offering faux degrees in stuff like Women's Studies, etc.

Every alcoholic or drug addict I've heard about leads me to believe otherwise. Alcohol is one of the most addicting substances you can face and is one of the few substances that can kill you from withdrawal. Addiction to pain killers is a difficult habit to kick and usually affects a person for the rest of their life.

During his arraignment he laughed and asked if the bald four eyed guy was his attorney when it was the prosecutor. Then he said "this is the best day of my life".

You would think he would have sobered up by now and been pretty somber. Starting to sound like there's something else going on in that brain besides drugs.

That happened 2 days after the arrest?

Arraignment typically happens pretty fast. I'm surprised it took this long.
