True, but that was before either of them coached a game for us.

Thanks again all. Meet him tonight during a Football event in Boston. Very excited about our future and looking forward to an improved defense in the coming years.

So great that Fleck didn't want to insult him by taking him to mere Minnesota. 03-wink No, he is the best any mid-major could expect to hire. He's definitely good enough to go P5. By default, I would assume he's better than Robb Smith, the DC that Fleck got at Minnesota, who, have not had a good D the last two years (and Toledo beat them @Arkansas). But I think it was due to Tampa ties, and Fleck believes in him and has P5 coaching experience and probably wanted that in the mix, despite being more or less unofficially fired from Arkansas. Personally, I would have brought Pinkham. But who knows -- maybe Pinkham was iffy about going to Minnesota for whatever reason, and maybe thought he had a great shot at taking over as HC @WMU? Just a random thought.

Tell him the Bronco fans sing his praises and that we Wish He Stayed!
