Roberson is topping out at 96 mph on his fastball. Also throwing an 86 mph slider.

Freshman catcher Josh Hernandez flies out in his 1st career AB.

Expect big things from him, however. The Columbia, SC product was the # 1 catcher in the state, and we beat out South Carolina and Clemson to get him.

Josh Hernandez is a very good defensive catcher! Hawks unlucky there with VMI scoring a run on 2 weak hits. Roberson has been great. Hawks need to score now with the game tied at 1.
