As if Calipari needed another edge

Cal will now be the coach of the US under 19 world team. So he'll basically have direct access to all of the top one and dones all summer long. Did he really need any more help? Not to sound sour grapes, but how is this even fair for an active college coach to get this position? Especially someone like Cal and at UK.

College sports are becoming less and less interesting as the big boys continue to get more and more built in advantages.

I wonder has Mick ever thought about persuing any of this kind of stuff?

Sean Miller used it to land Trier and Ferguson before he decided to head overseas.

Quite a few UK targets went through the U17 training camp and Quickley already holds an offer. Probably helps him land Bamba and Knox.

He coached Towns prior to his commit.

It will be interesting to see who he names as Assistants.
