Temple has been jeckyl and hyde all year. They beat two top 20 teams and also lost to New Hampshire.

how did smu almost lose to tulane at smu

smu was down 15 points at the half

(smu outscored tulane by 20 in the second half,
number of fouls- smu 8 tulane 18, sounds like smu needed help)

I have heard Coach Cal, Coach K and Bobby Knight say that they had match up problems with the team that they just lost to or struggled with. I guess they didn't know what they where talking about.

I never heard any of the 3 ever blame a loss on matchups-Dana and Cal had a similar mantra: (Paraphrased) We don't worry about what the other team does; we have to do what we do and do it well.

Coming on this board to rile up a bunch of mouth breathers takes up so little of my time. Plus, with smartphones, you can discreetly do this during boring presentations, useless meetings, or on the can.

It's sports. How does UK lose to UTK, then administer a 25-point beatdown 2 weeks later? Sometimes it is matchups. Sometimes it is hot outside shooting. Sometimes it is officiating. Sometimes it is a coach doesn't call a timeout.
