Uh.No. MAC or CUSA is a giant step backward, especially in football. Someone is in fantasyland if they think UConn can go ACC in football only; like another poster mentioned, they'll have to go FCS. They wouldn't survive independent.

As I recall one of uconn's selling points to the b12 is that they're a major football draw in the New York metro area. If so - UConn football is the BYU of the northeast.

No more Rutgers type deals where payout increases for conference networks by adding them. Directv and Comcast have figured out that loophole. UConn in football = Rutgers in most anything. Just a few schools could do that anymore; obviously Notre Dame.

People are laughing at the idea that there is any possibility of UCONN parking their football team in the ACC... That is laughable.

04-cheers I'd pleasantly notice. Anytime those a-holes come to FedExForum (only sport they travel for) they're complete BrownEyes! Hate those bowstards!

A lot of Schools won't survive if the power 5 breakaway. Why would any of the rest left out want to keep losing money, including Memphis! The G5 would probably have to cut Coaches salaries 3/4's just to break even.. When and if the P5 breakaway the ones left out will probably have a hard time staying a float!! JMO
