Centers who would you choose
Rivers or Chad
Or Nick Marshall
Calvin Godfrey
David Pellom
Freshmen Shaq
Senior Spoon
Will Coleman
Henderson Niles
I cant say I would choose Chad or Rivers over any of those backups over the past 7 years.
So yeah we have a talent issue...We will see if Tubby can fix...but he has done well with essentially players who could have been 3rd string on marginal teams.

Well, I wouldn't choose this roster over most of those either.
But, Chad and Rivers are both useful rotation players.
Fact is, if you have Marshall, Chad and Rivers around Dedric and KJ, then you're likely a pretty good team.
But to expect either Chad or Rivers to start was foolish, even if both have played okay.
Just bad roster management from the outset.
It is what it is though.

It is an unbalanced roster...But again if it is unbalanced in 2 years then we can lay this at the coaches feet.
And I compared Chad and Rivers to backup players and I wouldn't choose them above the backups on those marginal teams.

When you think about it, it is amazing the front court talent Cal had come through Kentucky since he has been there.

Chris Massie would mean a lot to this team. So would Dorsey
Of the ones you listed, I would go with Freshman Shaq or even Will Coleman

Will was underrated.
Wasn't polished, but he played hard.

He was underrated but his play just didn't match his physique...He looked like a beast but tended to play a little soft. I remember watch Tarik kill Coleman in the bluff before he made it on Campus.

I'd like to see Tubby with Coleman and Tarik as his starting PF and C.

I agree with you.
I'll tell you another big that would do a lot for this team...Marvin Alexander, he use to kill Louisville and never nervous.

He could jump out of the gym! Other than that I can't remember much about him, too young.

Yep. Drafted by the Bullets, I think, when the draft was like 10 rounds. Great guy, super athletic and great shot blocker for a guy 6-8. High jump record holder as well. Had the record here with like 61 until Keith Lee.

I'd take Chad playing on roller skates over PHN.

Perfect example of your lack of basketball knowledge if you are referring strictly to on the court. Niles would destroy him.
