I poked a little fun at listening to softball and then poked a little fun at the idea of listening to a UTEP rifle match. I didn't get any "I'm offended" responses from Miner fans on the rifle team remark, only from USM fans about the softball on the radio idea. The trophy is yours, USM!

We get it you are a troll and a bad one at that. I get it though, your softball team is just as bad as your football and basketball, so I wouldn't listen to them much either. I mean in 5 games you are 0-5 and have scored a total of 6 runs.

MinerinWisconsin is not a troll not even close to one. We are 2-2 all time in football vs Marshall and hold an 11-4 lead in basketball. So if our teams are bad what does that make yours?

Are you conflating "is" with past records?

Some of you who haven't been to South Mississippi just don't realize how popular women's softball is down here. It's really popular in the high schools and colleges. Probably somewhere between the popularity of Lacrosse in the Mid Atlantic region and Hockey in the northeast and upper midwest.

Now, if you were to look at HS baseball and College baseball, that is much more popular in this area than Lacrosse and Hockey are in the Mid Atlantic and Upper Midwest respectively.
