Why would players transfer out? It's more likely that they'd leave if we fire Murphy than if we keep him. Not following your logic.

I'm sure we'd buy him out rather than trot out a lame duck head coach for another season, assuming this disaster continues.

My feeling is players go to the school where they like the coach and where they feel they can win.

I have a hard time believing that Thompson feels like he can win with Murphy. Plus if Murphy is the coach next year, I see low attendance getting worse.

Bond and Nobles are probably stuck since Bond is a senior, Nobles already red shirted. I am not sure what Steele would do....
