EMU FB hires TE/Special Teams Coach
http://emueagles.com/news/2017/2/7/jay-n...coach.aspx

Pretty much what one would expect: A young coach who started at a sub-assistant coach level for years at Minnesota and then moved to So. IL for a year as a TE/Spec Teams coach. Not sure what his coaching experience (level) was at Pittsburg State (Kansas), which I believe is D-II.

Geographical he is from Oklahoma and schooled in Kansas (Pittsburg State) and also coached at Pittsburg State, Univ of. Minnesota and Southern Illinois U. (Carbondale, southern part of IL).

You're psychic!

Per Creighton: "We are excited about the addition of Coach Nunez to our coaching staff," remarked Creighton. "He brings great energy and is passionate about recruiting."

PASSIONATE ABOUT RECRUITING...............I like this hire already!!!

Yes, there is a pattern to this madness.

There is a logical progression for coaches to move up the food chain and a Midwest FCS to Midwest G5 FBS certainly follows that pattern.

CC knows where to go to find asst coaches.

Wow.

I have EMU 4 - 4 in the MAC. If we get 2 OOC wins we go bowling again...

Need to be Charlotte and probably Army (and that won't be easy. We have struggled against Army except once at Rynearson).

Rutgers can be had too.

Rutgers is a BAD B1G team. No doubt.

They are still a B1G team playing at home.
