You may be right.

Feel free to add more facts.
If I read it right, the Tigers have meet your performance standards for this season. What are your specific expectations for the next five years (e.g., 2 wins in the NIT)? When should the current coach be held accountable for results?
I'll answer that, even though you didn't ask me directly, for me it's easy, Tubby should pretty much be held accountable next year especially if Dedric comes back. But regardless Tubby has to be held accountable in year three.
As for this season, im fine with whatever happens, but next season I want results and year three he's got to get it done. I don't believe any coach should take a daily beat down of criticism in year one, that's asinine.
What do you consider results in year two and three (e.g., NIT bids)?
Getting to the tournament, not the NIT, winning meaningful games during the season that gets you an at-large bid and decent seed. Coming in second in the league. If Dedric comes back for his junior season then we should be able to win two games in the NCAA tournament. Sometimes you can have a great regular season and only have a few losses and get upset in the big dance, in a case like that would you consider it a failure? Not me. But not going to NCAA next season and year three won't cut it.
My minimal performance attainment is NCAA Tourney appearances for at least 3 out of 5 years and at least one S 16 in 5 years. Like you, it would allow losses in the NCAA Tourney.
This is reasonable to be. Nationally relevant all years. Dance 3-4 out of 5. Make a run every 4-5 years.
That defines a top 25 program, and that is what we historically are and should be again.
