Rockets lose big to start the conference season. Writer of the article posted on the UT site must have been a little confused. Did Toledo play Akron or Ohio? It might get fixed at some point, bot as of early Saturday morning both the Zips and Bobcats are mentioned in the article (FYI, Toledo is playing Ohio this weekend).

Article's been corrected. Mention of the Zips has been deleted.

UT has a doubleheader with Ohio today. Rockets lead the Bobcats 4-0 in game 1 with OU batting in the bottom of the second.

Rockets led 7-0 going to the bottom of the fifth and the Bobcats got 6 that inning.

7-6 UT in the top of the sixth.

Looks like they're going to extra innings in Athens. UT and Ohio tied at 7.

UT loses 8-7 in 8 innings. After being ahead 7-0.

Rockets begin the conference season 0-3. Lost game 2 of today's doubleheader 3-2; looks like the Bobcats scored two in the bottom of the 7th for a walk-off win.

Good to see them with a winning record in MAC play. Looks like they would be the #5 seed of the tourney started today. Still early. They actually have a shot at an overall winning record which I can't imagine has happened in like 20 years.

Rockets end up losing two out of three to Miami after a doubleheader split on Saturday. UT got clobbered 14-1 in the opener but won game 2 4-0.
