RE: Don't you ever...
The Tribe owes COC some payback.(They beat us down there without Dixon) Hopefully we will get some next weekend and help you guys out. Feel bad for Flemmings. You guys are still the best team in the league so far. If Ingram hits that shot, you win. Frankly, I expect nearly everything he shoots to go in. Losing Cacok was big, and it sounds like Chuck should have been next man up. I expect Delaware and JMU are going to suffer because you guys have lost 2 in a row. Other than perhaps at Northeastern, I don't see anywhere you might lose. So, if the Tribe beats COC next weekend, you likely will get the #1 seed.

RE: Don't you ever...
Now that I've calmed down I want to apologize for the tone of the original post. I know you guys aren't the problem. I've been reading this board for a few years now and it's clear that you are all diehard Seahawk fans. I was just upset about most non-students staying in their seats last night and not adding to the home court advantage.

Its all good. You guys were very impressive. Its unfortunate the pace of the game was interrupted by too many traveling / carrying calls.
As far as non students not standing I think its pretty normal even compared to 12 years ago. The non student fan base in Wilmington is actually really good compared to other college courts. The upper areas will occasionally stand up and make noise.
I do wish Trask still had the decibel meters near the doors. It was fun watching those things go up over 100. I think they even flashed when it hit a certain level.

I remember it hitting 110 and staying there for a solid 5 mins when Blizz broke the record! I'd like for those to comeback as well.

Even though it was a loss, the atmosphere was electrifying. Brought back great memories and looking forward to many more times like this.

I just need to convince the wife. I'm not sure why the beach is such a hard sell.

Yeah I'm just referring to key moments. Even in the Dean Dome they stand and cheer for a run or when they need a big stop.
Overall though it really was a great atmosphere. I shouldn't post under the influence.

No apology necessary. The old folks around me, I am one, were really engaged last night, at times nerves kept me rather quiet. The students were awesome, keep it going.

There seems to be quite a few of us that are drinkers with a basketball problem.

And I wouldn't want it any other way.

wings up, I think it has more to do with the re-configuration of Trask than the students. At least it does for me. You could tell that there was a great energy last night. I tip my hat to the students. They are what make college basketball, and Trask, such a great experience. Keep it up!

Looks like they let more students in the bleachers.

I thought that too. It looked more crowded down there than the last home game. If that is what they did then thank you admin
