Game 3: No. 11 USF vs. No. 6 UConn - 8 p.m. ET (ESPNews)

At least in the Conference Tournament we have a chance at getting more than 2 bids.

Figuring that Cincy and SMU will be the Top 2 seeds, you have 5 teams fighting for the last 3 byes in Tulsa, Houston, Memphis, UCONN and UCF. This is huge as other than Tulsa, none of these teams have great depth and aren't winning 4 games in 4 days.
As a UCONN fan I don't care who we play as long as we can sneak into the Top 5 and get a bye. With 6-7 players right now, 3 games in 3 days is daunting. 4 seems impossible.

Regardless if we're winning or not college basketball as a product is complete crap now.

This happens when your team is 11-11.

Said by everyone who is in the south or whose team sucks. Try and be less bitter, nationally scoring is on the rise big time. The discussion has been that college basketball has been on an uptick.

I'm not bitter. The product sucks. No one can do anything besides shoot threes. The officiating is terrible.

I'm sure you think they don't play any defense in the NBA too #DumbTakes

RE: AAC Conference Tourney Bracketology 1/31/17
So I think it's clear Cincinnati and SMU have separated themselves at the top and Temple, ECU, USF and Tulane have separated themselves at the bottom. That leaves Memphis, Tulsa, UCF, Houston and UConn in the middle fighting for the 3rd through 6th spot. Two of those teams are going to end up not getting a bye in conference tournament.
Memphis 7-3 (tough remaining games: @UCF, @Cincinnati, @SMU, @UConn )
Tulsa 7-3 (@Cincinnati, SMU, @SMU, @Memphis, @UCF)
Houston 7-4 (@Cincinnati, SMU, @Memphis)
UConn 5-4 (@Cincinnati, Cincinnati, SMU, @UCF)
UCF (@Cincinnati, Cincinnati, Memphis)
Most interesting thing is all 5 of those teams have yet to play a game @Cincinnati. That's odd for this deep into conference season.

Which is also why I still believe will hit a loss in the conference. The @SMU for us, and @UCF (I don't care if their arena will be empty, that team actually scares me this year), and even @Uconn...The game is in March. I don't want to see Uconn in march.
