Game times
I know we aren't great this year. I know TV is in charge. I know crowds wouldn't be huge anyway, but the games dates and times make it very difficult to attend games. It seems to get worse every year.
I know many of you don't, but I have a life that includes work sometimes and a lot of people these days are not 9-5ers.
Here's the list of days and times this year
Monday 7 pm
Wednesday 7 pm
Saturday 11 am
Tuesday 7 pm
Wednesday 8 pm
Saturday 12 noon
Tuesday 8 pm
Wednesday 7 pm
Tuesday 8 pm
Friday 8 pm
Thursday 6 pm
Saturday 5 pm
Sunday 3 pm
Saturday 2:30 pm
Tuesday 6 pm
Sunday 1 pm
Sunday 4 pm
Thursday 8 pm
3 Sundays, 1 @ 1, 1 @ 3, 1 @ 4
1 Monday @ 7
4 Tuesdays, 1 6, 1 @ 7, 2 @ 8
3 Wednesdays, 2 @ 7, 1 @ 8
2 Thursdays, 1 @ 6, 1 @ 8
1 Friday @ 8
4 Saturdays (only 4), 1 @ 11, 1 @ noon, 1 @ 2:30, 1 @ 5
Just saying, not easy to attend. If this continues, look for fewer and fewer season tickets, including me, regardless of win-loss record. I've been going for over 40 years and this is ridiculous. 2 Tuesday at 8 and 2 Wednesdays at 7 is the closest thing this schedule had to consistency.
What happened to every Saturday, almost every "pick a week night" and the occasional oddball time?

For this very reason I have only been able to attend 3 games this year. I will not renew next year.

If it was 2005-2008 with this schedule it'd still be selling out.

I know I'm old, but best I can remember, we've always been in a conference.

10-12 game Metro/GMW schedules hardly compare.

TV pays the bills. TV usually dictates the start time to fit their broadcast schedule. Money talks.

RE: Game times
I remember playing plenty of day games in the Metro days.
Louisville, Cincinnati, Virginia Tech, Florida State, South Carolina, etc. all at the old round house.
Eat a nice breakfast at Ferguson's Cafe on Summer Ave. and head over to the Fairgrounds.

Ferguson's was a great place for breakfast. It was never the same when they moved it to Germantown Parkway. It faded away.

It was pretty good for a while. He went to a Buffet style & it was packed on the weekends.
He moved it out to the edge of Bartlett to the old Shelby View Restaurant famous for their Fried Catfish on Hwy. 70-Summer Ave..
There was a fire and it never recovered. Lotta rumors but nothing came of it.

If you hung on thru the Pastner years, surely you can hang on thru some scheduling inconsistencies!
