I don't know if you can call it the Coach Perry era since he said in the pregame show he wasn't going to change anything.

I guess it is unwavering loyalty to Coach Lebo not to change up the style of play. Doesn't he know that Lebo will not get another HC position in Div. 1 basketball? Why not do what something different to see if it matters?

Lebo and Compher "discussed" Lebo having surgery. Sorry but the wording used leads me to believe Compher said "have the surgery while you're employed and then step down at end of the season so we don't have to pay your buyout"

What incentive would Lebo have to step down? He wouldn't get paid, unless there is a deal in where he takes a lump sum. Even then it's a dumb move on his part. Lebo hold all the leverage in this situation.

He was finished as a D1 coach when ECU hired him. He was fired by frigging Auburn. ECU hired an Auburn reject.
