Caupains free throws visually looked much better. It appears to me he was shooting with a little bit less of an arc.

Multiple times in the radio broadcast Dan and Chuck mentioned that Hep worked with Troy and Kyle on FTs this week.

This team definitely shares the ball. Sometimes to a fault- at times I think they pass up some shots in favor of the exta pass. At the end of the day, I like the ball movement.

i realize that watching the Bearcats can take on a sadistic feel at times but this morning i woke up and turned on the TV and the chyron showed the #20 Bearcats score. That's a great effing feeling.

Also, watching the post game interview with Kyle and KJ. They look like they are having a ton of fun.

Looks like it's going to be an Elton John morning on Radio TubaCat. I still can't believe I was lucky enough to see the legend himself in concert a couple years ago.

RE: Temple Game Thread
Amazing to me is that Temple can serve up such a tough performance against UC and still be 1-6 in this season's dreadful AAC. How does that happen? And some of those six weren't exactly close losses.

The silver lining: Temple should be a capable spoiler the second half of the conference season. After being swept by UC they now have our blessing to upset the other contenders.

Loved Troy's play down the stretch. This team has played their way into a great position and they're only getting better.

Simple: Temple was hitting their shots last night. They shot for 53% last night, including hitting 12 from downtown (at a 47% clip). Temple couldn't buy a bucket the past 6-7 games.

Not only was Temple hitting shots but the Bearcats have targets on their back after the media picked UC to win the league. Each team is going to come out and give us their best effort.

The only thing that disappoints me from last night is the lack of scoring off the bench. I know Cronin does not give our bench guys a lot of time, but it is a bit worrying that he does not trust some of these guys to play them this late into the season.

We got good minutes from Cumberland, Brooks and Scott. Jennifer got some minutes early, but in the second half Troy was simply on fire and it was tough to take him out. Brooks and Scott may not have scored a lot, but their defensive contributions are huge.

Actually I like that Mick is only giving the bench a little playing time,if you look at a Carolina or Duke Boxscore they get 6-7 guys minutes and thats about it.With all the TV timeouts are starters should be able to play 34-36 minutes every game.

Jenifer has been buried on the bench lately. I get that Cumberland is eating in to his minutes, but I think Mick should be able to find more than 4 minutes for a player of his caliber.

I really hope Fickell is at the shootout. That would be a much better introduction to the passion of UC sports.

Last year the drop off between Troy and Jennifer was gigantic, it's not nearly as much this year. Mick needs to find a way to rest Troy a bit.

These kids have the stamina to play into the 30-35 minute range. Depth isn't nearly as important as I think some make it out to be. I'd prefer we have the players who give us the best chance to win on the floor. In a tightly contested game, I have 0 problem with Caupain getting 36 minutes. It's great to have depth, but when you have someone who's been a pretty dominant scorer and had 7 assists to go with it, you go with the hot hand.

Looks like some of the other coaches were there last not too (but not sitting in the student section with Fickell per twitter pics).

Depth is helpful when players get into foul trouble too. Not being in foul trouble enables us to keep up the aggressive play at the end of the game.

His financial advisor wouldn't let him do that. He'd have both hips shattered instantly.
