Question for you Statesboro Folk
Crazy how my schedule works out:

Had Dallas won, I'd have been in the middle of a zoo as the Cajuns play in Arlington on Monday. But I escaped that one.

Now, I'll be in Statesboro Super Bowl Sunday, and if the Dirty Birds are in it, that'll be interesting too (I'll be in Atlanta the day before the game)

But regardless of who is playing, I need a recommendation as to where to watch the Super Bowl.

Give me your top two places and I'll pick one. My friend and I will be the ones with Saints gear on.

Can't go wrong with Buffalo Wild Wings. If you're looking for a younger, college bar vibe go to Gnats Landing or Dingus Mcgees.

BWW is what you got?!
LAst week I had to cheer for the seahawks, this week the Packers. Gross. If the Pats and Falcants are in the SB, I'll cheer for the giant meteor to end it all.

GATAs is closed. It was nasty anyways.

The movie theatre also has a bar inside and they'll probably be showing the super bowl on the big screen and you can order food and drinks from your seat. You'll have to check their website though and make sure

I'm never watching the NFL playoffs again. It only brings heartbreak and sadness.

I've pretty much learned to only give a bleep about the Falcons when they are winning. A nice skill to have if you want to pull for an Atlanta sports team.

Bandwagon fandom is good in pro sports.

Why? Locos is pretty good, but I can't say I've watched a game there before.

RE: Question for you Statesboro Folk
An idea I haven't seen mentioned is Eagle Creek Brewing company, I think they changed the laws this year in Georgia so that now a "brewpub" and brewery can be located together which before they had to be separate. Some of their beers are pretty good (avoid the spot-tail blonde ale like the plague, it seems to be one of their best sellers by the amount of locations I see it in, but it tastes like piss to me); don't have a sense of how the food is yet, just tossing that out as an outside the box pick.

http://www.eaglecreekbrewingco.com/home-cpl7

For an inside the box pick, I'd go with Gnat's Landing.

But will they have the game on? I don't remember there being a big screen in there the last time I went.

I think the food isn't that great and the place just seems dirty to me. I'd prefer BWW. Wild Wing Café is okay but I don't really like their food and their drinks are way too expensive. $6 for a beer in a college town is outrageous. I'll stick with BWW $5 tacos and $3 drafts.

Gnats is my go to though. I love that place.

Not sure actually, I haven't been since the law changed, I just kinda figured if you are in business to sell alcohol, you find a way to get the Super Bowl on TV in your establishment, but they may not have one. I'll check into it.

I can't do bandwagon fandom, but good God I have no idea why I continue wo watch the Chiefs every playoffs despite knowing that they will find some colossal way to screw up and lose in game 1.

Go to Gnats Landing. Cheap drinks, plenty of tvs, and decent food. They may set up a projector for the game and have food/drink specials

RE: Question for you Statesboro Folk
I've been to Gnats before and liked it.

The Eagle Creek thing is intriguing. Open on Sundays? TV's? I'll need to do some research.

I can get BWW everywhere. I try to stay away from national chains when I travel.

Appreciate all the help.
