MTSU's Rick Insell a 2017 women's basketball Hall of Fame finalist.

"I am truly overwhelmed to be considered as one of the 12 nominees for this year's Hall of Fame class," Insell said. "I have spent all of my adult life and half of my childhood in the game of basketball so to even be considered for its national hall of fame is beyond comprehension."

Big news!! Hope he makes the cut this year (if not, he should be in next year). Way to go Coach... it will be a special game on Thursday vs FIU

Maybe exactly the opposite. They may want to include "diversity" in every class, and as the only male, obviously he would have an advantage. That said, his record speaks for itself and he should be in regardless.

Well, I could be wrong, but I believe diversity is an old, old wooden ship that was used during the Civil War era.
