RE: Good News!
And, it sounds as if Dave Duggan is being retained on the Defensive staff. That seems to be a plus...but completely unofficial at this point.

RE: Good News!
Great news.

One criticism of Tim Lester I am going to HAVE to make is he needs to be more communicative. Maybe folks at his previous venues didn't care to hear that much program news, but WMU circa 2016 is a different story. We're used to 4 years of PJ Fleck, communicating was his strong suit.

There is a lot of interest in where this program is going now and some concern, we need to be filled in when good news comes. This is the day of Twitter and instant communication, Coach Fleck. Keep em coming!!

RE: Good News!
Right now I prefer Lester spending time talking with prospective new assistants & recruits rather than news sources.

It takes 30 seconds to send out a Tweet, the preferred communication medium for modern up and comers. NEVER let good news get cold on the oven-or get reported by somebody other than Bronco family.

04-chairshot SO TRUMP LIKE.
STAFF FIRST, RECRUIT SECOND AND TWEET IF YOU MUST WHEN YOU CAN. Building and keeping our program strong will not live or die based on quickness of tweets so a few people on this site can be in on the know.

I don't think the criticism is on "Tweet THE split second it happens, no 2 second delay, dammit!" -- I think it's about announcing it while it's new news, via a tweet or whatnot Before word spreads online as rumor. At least knowing if it Did In Fact happen, it'd be posted, is all. Right now, we don't know 100%.

RE: Good News!
I don't the HC CAN tweet on verbals at this stage. He can communicate on staff additions but you gotta make sure all the details are nailed down!

You're right, but most of the concern in this forum today has been on staff. Especially OC and DC. We need to hear that from Lester or WMU Athletics before we hear it as 'buzz' on the internet.

He probably can't really announce anything until dust settles and roles are really in place. PJ wasn't tweeting his staff additions at Minn... the coaches that were added tweeted things like "Cant wait to get started at ....". And such. I haven't checked Lou's twitter yet...

Hayward is enrolled. He can come out and talk about him once he's enrolled.
