That was Jason, not Travis.

I don't know what Travis' deal is, but if he wants to be part of the program, great. If not, fine. I think there is a lot of future talent that will be happy to associate with the Bearcats after they've moved on to the NFL.

He can't be that mad at UC if he wants them to recruit his cousin

Travis isn't mad at UC. He's mentioned UC in a positive light many times. People read too much into him using his high school for his primetime NFL introduction.
