Both POC and Gardner are listed as possible late round draftees.

POC has a shot, if he has a good showing at the NFLPA bowl, and a really good pro day.

Gardner a free agent invite I'd think.

Good luck to both. Great college careers and good guys. Need a lot more just like them!

At a minimum, I'd think they both get free agent camp invites with the Lions. I like POC a lot, but my gut tells me that Gardner might be the more intriguing prospect because he's only played the position for two years and he is very athletic.

I agree. Not sure POC has NFL size. Correct?

I've always felt that POC played out of position due to necessity. At 6'4"270lbs he's very tenacious with speed ; however, I would have been intrigued to see him play Lb at 245lbs and how that would have translated to additional speed at LB which I believe will be his NFL spot.

6'4 270 is plenty big for a 4-3 DE. The question is, does he have enough athleticism at that size for the next level? The bowl and combine will tell the story. Even tougher to drop 25-30 lbs and try to pick up the additional speed/athleticism required to play LB the NFL.

With some high level training and nutrition, he just might be able to push his strength and athleticism to the next level required. If you put guys like POC, Harris, Crosby in an Alabama type training and nutrition environment, you'd absolutely see the difference in performance on the field.

If he really dials his training in, I think he could get drafted late rounds.

Would be great after DJack last year.
