RE: Game 19 - Drexel 4 PM Saturday 1/21
My apologies to the many relatives of the Williams brothers who aren't brothers.
The Duke-Miami game used the same crazy camera angle as the UNCW-Drexel game. It was not as acute as the CAA game, but it shows the UNCW game was not a cheap production.
If the CAA's RPI is falling, it's due to its non-conference foes not doing as well in conference play as the MVC's non-conference foes. Root for Clemson and Middle Tennessee. Their RPI's are still impressive.

Just listened to the Drexel coach postgame interview. Really like the guy and think he will do good things there.

If you can win at Army, you can win anywhere. Bob Knight and Coach K came from there. Not saying he's on his way to becoming an all-time great but it's a really good place to start.
I like him too. I already think he's better than Joe Mihalich. And he'll likely move a bunch of spots up the list among CAA coaches before all is said and done.

Keep in mind he also won more there than both Knight and K, to add to his credentials. He has done everything right since stepping foot at Drexel. He has brought back former players, alumni etc to bring everything and everyone back and trying to get them all to work together and build a strong program. The things he has said and done in year 1 is quite remarkable. Time will tell on his ability to recruit and sell the program to potential recruits.
For those who have not listened to him speak I would highly suggest doing so. He speaks very eloquently and you can tell his basketball knowledge/IQ is super high. He is honest about what he sees, so if a coach who is honest upsets you, you may not want to tune in. He does keep a positive spin on most things, which can be impressive with a bad team like we have.
