Highlights and a closer look at the talley shot

The Talley shot was pure luck but COC hit one in the first half that was also very much luck. I don't think COC can beat UNCW simply because they can't score even if they get the ballpoint blank at the basket. They play tough defense,rebound well and are athletic but no banana for them vs UNCW and all the guys that can score. It they had the Barry kid this would be a very good team.

I don't know CoC that well, but the game could've been different if Brantley had stayed out of foul trouble. He was a tough match up for Flemmings, but only played 19 minutes. From the way the announcers spoke of Chealey, there's also more to his game than we saw last night.

On the other hand, I don't know if you're going to get a 18% 3-point shooting performance from Ingram, Bryce and Flemmings very often (33% from inside the arch for that trio). Also, despite Dave Armstrong mentioning their "obvious rebounding advantage," we ended up with a 41-38 rebounding advantage.

Eric Detweiler said following the game Keatts is 7-0 against CoC despite playing their style in each game.

I don't support banning, but I do support him going away on his own volition if all he's got is negative stuff in an 18-2 season.

And I'll continue to call him out for hijacking threads in that fashion at every turn. Not that he cares. He says "ignore me" but it's hard to ignore when good threads take a bad turn seemingly every time he interjects something.

CoC shot themsleves in the foot a lot last night by missing a lot of easy baskets and free throws

We had a horrid shooting night as well. Felt like them Clemson game only CoC did not make us pay with their inside game

I will gladly take any kind of win though as that will likely be our toughest regular season CAA game
