ODU/LT game should be on ASN just before this game. And we've got a lot more miles of hate than that. Without looking it up I'm guessing 700 miles of hate or so

You can call it what you want after you play 130 times :)

Kind of a sloppy game (UNT lead at the half), but Rice is running away with it by 21 at the under-4 timeout, 90-69.

I only read Herd fans saying both games this week would be a challenge. Maybe check another board.

Season high in points (and also points in a half (64)) for the Owls. They beat the Mean Green 101-79.

MT leads WKU early 26-11, with 12:00 left in the first half. We could hit 100! Great crowd close to what we had for Vandy game...

MT beat WKU 91-76. Both teams shot better than 60% from the floor but MT significantly out-rebounded the Toppers.

.
That was the difference in the game, I think plus the freshman going 5 for 5 from deep. Neither team could hit free throw, better percentage from the floor than the line. Not sure what happened to Justin Johnson he has lost all his confidence at the line. Toppers need a point guard and they would be a pretty good team but otherwise they are just mediocre. Middle has a bunch of guys who can score, makes them very dangerous. I would not want to play them if the tourney.

Agree with your assessment. Our depth is a major advantage and something we really haven't had before (usually we have a few really good players and some mediocre at best backups - not the case this year).

Kermit has done an excellent job bringing along Dixon. He was starting from the beginning but early on, he wasn't in the games for all that long, but since about midway of December, he's been in when the game is on the line and making big shots and taking care of the ball and getting it to the big three to score. Even though he's just a freshman, he's playing like an upper classman. Seventeen points and 8 assists were career highs, though I think those won't last long. Very happy that the PG position appears in solid hands for the next three seasons.
