This is correct.

He was known more as a basketball player in high school as well.

Pinkham and Williams were officially taken off the website today. Only coaches on there right now are Tim Lester, David Duggan, Bill Kenney.

Tough profession when you go from coaching a top 15, conference champion, Cotton Bowl team to being unemployed in less than a month.

I will bet that Pinkham didn't want to stick around as a DC and after losing out on the HC he was ready to move on... let's just be thankful he stuck around during the transition and helped hold together the recruits PJ didn't poach...

He was getting paid to do that, he couldn't refuse as long as he was getting a WMU paycheck.

What's the background on Cory Sanders?

I really like the aggressive play of our DB's, I hope that doesn't change.

RE: Speculating on Lester's staff
A couple posters refer to Moreland as Co-OC.
WMU press release does not show that.

Most recently helped start West Florida's football program. They went 5-6 their very first year, which is impressive. They are at the D2 level.

Before that he was HC at D2 Saint Joseph's College. He went 24-19 as HC there. They had a notably good defense while he was there.

I couldn't tell you what kind of scheme or style he likes to run, though.

Brian Kaufmann from WWMT just tweeted the list of coaches and it shows Jake Moreland as CO-OC and OL coach.
