Time to unite behind our new coach
Although he was the guy I was hoping we didn't hire, it's time to move forward and get behind Lester. He was a great QB, and is a great Bronco. He has wanted to coach his alma mater, and I am sure this is truly his dream job.

I was looking forward to one of the other coaches that had been discussed, but I have no problem rooting like hell for Lester to achieve great things. It's certainly possible, and he has a lot of talent in the program.

Good luck Tim, and welcome back to Waldo.

It's OK Brovol. There are currently a hundred threads expressing angst and all the other emotions of a fan base energized by the past season and hoping to continue the momentum.

While he wasn't among my top candidates, it is time to support this new coach and his staff.

I agree about what you wrote. Lester wasn't my first pick and I'm giving KB the benefit of the doubt that it wasn't an easy choice. Sure, she interviewed before when Fleck came in and was very familiar with him. But let's not pre-judge the guy before he even has his staff lined up, recruits lined up, and hasn't coached a down yet. Remember, nobody knew who Fleck was and were ready to burn him down after the 1-11 season. Give Lester some room to operate before we judge him.

I'm aboard the Tim Lester express. I hope I see Ed Pinkham aboard as well!

Hopefully this is a "destination job" for him and his performance allows him a long tenure.

I believe that in part was part of the decision making process after getting sold down the river by pj.

Well, Fleck and his era are part of our history, part of our Bronco legacy now. We have to embrace our past to build our future, right? So I plan to do that, and support TL and this team moving forward. #weWILLreign

Lester is 39. I get the feeling if he has similar success to Fleck he won't be around too much longer. He may leave with a bit more care though.
