Cincy often won both the metro and cusa league and Tourney title, but not always. But they almost alway won the league title and made the NCAA tourney

Yea right. A final four, two E8s, a S16, and 16 weeks at #1 where a unanimous NPOY broke has a leg in the cusa Tourney. Sans UConn...everyone else is rif raf

Just got back from a game tonight and I think that SMU has every right to take exception. SMU is a very good team. Great game SMU.

What are you talking about? We have had plenty of recent success.

The Bearcats made the Sweet 16 in 2012, and are one of only 8 teams in the NCAA with a current streak of 6 or more tournament appearances. The other 7 teams are Duke, North Carolina, Michigan State, Kansas, VCU, Gonzaga, and Wisconsin.

RE: It's Cincinnati's league
A little early to hand us the league this year. SMU looked like the better team last night but we were able to hold on. I like where we sit right now with two of our tougher road games behind us but we've still got the trip to Moody. If we play the way we did last night we'll get blown out in Dallas but we've got a month to progress and I doubt our leading scorer will go 1/10 again.

I disagree that SMU looked like the better team. UC lead the entire night. Tried to give it away late. SMU was really tough on the boards and played really well on offense in the second half. UC's best player had his worst game as a Bearcat but the Cats still held on. Mick needs to stop trying to buy minutes with Moore against good teams. SMU attacked him immediately for a layup. Everyone does this when he enters the game.

I agree that it's too early to hand UC the league. Still a return game to Moody and some other tests going forward.

RE: It's Cincinnati's league
Not counting any chickens 4 games into the conference schedule .

I see a tough game at SMU
UC will probably split with UConn because its UConn and all our games are close.
And there could be one WTF game where we lose. There typically is one of those a year.

I'll put UC at worst... 15-3 . SMU should be around there as well.

The group of Houston , UCF, Memphis will be interesting to see who emerges as a NCAA caliber team .

UConn will probably win the conference tournament , then go to the final 4 . I'm only half joking

Its just baxetball. You have what matters. I'd agree to never have a winning season in baxetball If we could win 8 games in football every year. Damn squeaky shoes.

TEAM...........Conference.............. Overall
Cincinnati.....1-7, 0.125......... 4-8, 0.333

http://theamerican.org/standings.aspx?path=football

Are we already pretending football seasons isn't a thing?

(Cinci is solid in Bball again, but don't start turning into Kansas fans. Dormant all year in football, pretending they are athletic Gods when bball starts back up)
