NOTE: Malzahan was Lashlee's coach back in HS.
His offense averaged 32.6 PPG over the 10 games he was calling plays.
And that number is inflated by the 111 pts they scored against some Div I-AA team called Alabama A&M and a really bad Louisiana Monroe team.
Again, even his buddy Malzahan knew he wasn't the right guy for the job...as evidenced by the 3 straight losses to Div I-A teams to end the season where they scored only a combined 38 pts in those 3 losses.
Of course, Lashlee could end being a top OC in the future...but he is at UCONN because it just didn't work out at Auburn.
It was 55 not 111. His offense also scored 56 against #17 Arkansas. Seems like a very good hire for UConn IMO.
Ever since he took over play calling the offense has been confused and chaotic. Auburn rain pettiway into the ground against Arkansas. Hell I coulda called that game. Auburn fans are happy. Dude used 3 qbs in one series. Not just a game. One series. Gus took the heat for him but it all started going to shite at Auburn when he started calling plays. Top 10 talent 10 years in a row and the field goal kicker was the most dangerous weapon on offense. Lol.
Funniest thing I heard an auburn fan say was that at least he would get to see good women's basketball because even auburn beat uconn in men's basketball.
Lol @ uconn fans. Y'all just don't get football, do you.
Y'all? Is that country hick talk?

There are people that feel inadequate and insecure who try to make themselves look big by mocking other people.
People like that suck.

Since he didn't really run the offense at Auburn it will be an interesting exercise.
