You don't think preseason expectations have anything to do with the rating? I certainly wouldn't give Tech an A-. We pooped the bed vs USM and blew a game vs MTSU.

Not an average season for USM ("C") with the talent on that team. I would go with a D. I know Mullens was banged up for some key games, but with the #15 defense in the nation, they should have managed the turnover ratio better to get more wins and contend for the championship, imo.

Worst MU season in 30+ years. I'd give them an "F"....as in F'n suck D.

I am guessing how they performed against the expectations is the basis for the criteria. I wouldn't rank ODU ahead of WKU if its just performance that is being evaluated. After all they are the CUSA Champs.

Yeah, not how we stacked up against each other but a grade on our teams and how we stacked up vs expectation I'm sure was a criteria. We were expected 6th and far exceeded that. If you were expected to have a 6-6 season and ended up with a 6-6 season that's a C, imo. Average.

Here's our turnovers in 5 of our 6 losses:. The other loss was LSU and we had 1

Troy 3
UTSA 3
Charlotte 3
ODU 5
UNT 4

Media expected FAU to go 4-8. We went 3-9. The "D" is fully deserved. From the personal standpoint, since I expected us to go 6-6, we deserve an "F".

As an afterthought, the Administration deserves a "C" for sticking this long with an inept head coach but hiring Kiffin.

Don't sell us too short. I'm ok with a B+. We had some losses we shouldn't have, but we still won our division, beat a team no one else in our conference has since 2014, and beat a ranked AAC division champ.

I would rate it a C+/B-. If we would have beat USM and MTSU solid B. IF we do that and Beat WKU in CCG then A-. Beat Ark on top of that A. Undefeated A+

It was 27-7 in the second half and both sides of the ball decided to stop playing.

That's called blowing a game.

Also Skip decided to call the same pass play 3 times in the red zone. If he had run it with Craft I think we score and win.

Army was B- at minus, not A.

Schizo season. The new staff had a lot to do with it. Started well and ended well. Schizo in-between. Many reasons for optimism. Ito Smith will be back. Spring game might be interesting.
