Marshall fans, what are the expectations for next season? Just strange the way y'alls season went. Do you expect more of the same, return to the top, or moderate improvements?

RE: Final team rankings 1-128
I can see how MTSU and Southern Miss might be ranked above us, but I'm left scratching my head as to how North Texas would actually finish ahead of us. They were 3-5 in C-USA play, while we were 5-3. They were 5-8 overall, and we were 6-7. We also beat 'em 31-17, and North Texas lost 4 of their last 5 games. I don't see a big enough difference in the schedules to warrant them overcoming all those metrics. Doesn't matter though. Just a bit amusing.

That is a bit odd. Looking at the schedules side-by-side right now.
Both beat Southern Miss (UTSA by more, and they had Mullens)
Both loss to UTEP and La Tech (1 home, 1 away each)
UTSA beat UNT
UTSA beat MTSU, who beat UNT

The only thing I can find that would give UNT an edge is their win over Army, while UTSA lost to Colorado State.

Odd indeed. NC State beat the stuffing out of us, and should have beaten Clemson. Yet they are behind us (I would like to think that we would have given them a better game later in the season then we did early.)

I don't see us getting any better if we still have Legg as the OC and pothead Litton as QB. It's very demoralizing for most of the fan base. Some and the powers that be, see this year as a fluke but I think it goes deeper. Hope I am wrong but I don't see us being good for several years. Maybe we are moving toward becoming a basketball school?
The football program is a dumpster fire.
