Im going to this game. First game I've been to in nearly a decade. Lower level tickets are $75 a piece. Had no idea they were that expenaive.

Yeah, I think we spent $40 apiece for lower level tickets in a far corner against some multi-directional team over Christmas break last year. It is rare we will ever be at any games in person anymore (though my wife will be there Wednesday).

Fans can meet members of the team and gather autographs two hours before tipoff in the fourth-floor lobby of the Lindner Athletics Center next to Fifth Third Arena. Members of the team also will be recognized during the game.

The 1991-92 team finished 29-5 overall, winning a share of the Great Midwest Conference regular season title and claiming the league’s tournament title before making the program’s sixth Final Four appearance.

The Bearcats, coached by Bob Huggins, were led by forward Herb Jones (18.8 points per game), guard Anthony Buford (15.3) and guard Nick Van Exel (12.3).

The Bearcats lost 76-72 in the national semifinals to Michigan and its “Fab Five” freshmen, led by Chris Webber and Jalen Rose.

Stopped by the campus bookstore last night and their stock on both t-shirts and sweatshirts with the '92 graphics was wiped out; about six pieces left in mumbo jumbo sizes.

Maybe they just needed to restock. Maybe they grossly underestimated the demand for something old that's new again. Anyway, I hope they get more for all who want them. Licensed merchandise sales are always a win/win for UC.

I saw someone from UC reply to a question on Twitter concerning why the '92 jerseys weren't available for sale. He said something about retailers fearing the demand was too low for that specific throwback jersey.

While that may be true, how would retailers know whether fans would want this specific jersey if the fans had no idea it was even going to be an option? And I guess we, as fans, should do a better job of communicating to retailers what kind of UC gear we want?

I'm not personally a jersey guy, but I think UC could sell a lot of these if they had them made up. I'm guessing it might be too late at this point, though.

I am hoping they do throwback shooting shirts for the game too.. as an aging man, shooting shirts are what I love to wear..

I still have a 1992 Final Four shirt that's in pretty good shape. Plan to wear that to the game that day.

Interesting, considering that the bookstore sold out their UA stuff with the throwback logo in just a few days last week.

Statistically, UC should run away with it. Should have beaten Tulsa by a dozen too. I think we'll all be happy to get a solid "W" and roll on.

Vance Jackson is capable of knocking down the corner 3 that we all know and love with regularity.

Vital has come on as of late. Purvis is either lights out or a TO/bad shot machine. I don't think either will be able to handle Cumberland on a drive much like Macura.

Brimah is always looking for the block so we need to exploit that early. Enoch is 6'11 and 258 but hasn't developed the skills yet.

Facey is capable of a 20/10 if we don't put a body into him.
