Not a big fan of these SMU sets.
Cincy's offense is much crisper this year.

It helps when you're draining treys...
Ball movement has been much better the past month...

Gary Clark has really improved his inside game with better footwork and position toward the basket. Dude can board and defend too.

That was a huge bucket by Milton to end the half. Cats falling in love with the trey too much.

Terrible decision by KJ with that trey. Solid half though

I don't know how many layups we can miss, but I don't think it will continue.

Agree. Go inside. We've been to foul line as much as the Pope in Amsterdam. Still, good first half overall.

SMU has more rebounds because they take the ball inside.
UC shoots too often without anyone under the basket.

Meh as long as Bearcats win I don't care about stats. A lot of SMU shots have been poor decisions.

RE: SMU vs. Cincinnati Game Thread
I knew once KJ took that terrible shot that SMU would score on the other end. Can't make dumb players like that against a good team.
Interesting game though, other than that shot to end the half KJ was great and Sterling Brown also threw in some garbage. The stars (Ojeleye and Evans) were both terrible though.
Washington can't play any defense, especially switching every screen, so I expect to see more of Scott in the 2nd half.

RE: SMU vs. Cincinnati Game Thread
Also, I haven't seen a team take away UC's post ups quite like SMU did in the first half. That's part of the reason for the open threes UC hit, but SMU really contained Washington in the post and didn't let him get any touches.
