My assumption would be IF they do go forward (which by all accounts it seems like its being met with lukewarm response at best) It'll be a LONG time before we really see any kind of traction on Shockers restarting their football program

It's really not a major conversation because there is no way we'll take another start up football program on.

That actually could be good for the SBC in a bit of a roundabout way. It further solidifies the American in Tier 1.5 of the basketball hierarchy (maybe giving them a solid edge over the A10 and MWC), but lowers the MVC's shot at being in that next group of conferences (e.g. CAA, WCC, MAC) that the SBC should be shooting to top every year.

SO when they say basketball-only, are they refering to everything but football, or truly basketball-only. Can't imagine the MVC being happey with everything else but Wichita STate's basketball.

If the Kochs want football, it will happen.

Wichita State won't join the Sun Belt or CUSA. Not enough major basketball schools. It's AAC or bust for them

Yea, but Nova has a horrendous stadium and no plans to move to FBS. Temple already plays at the Linc, the only option would be to play at PPL Park, but you would have to wear a flak jacket to go to games in Chester, PA. I don't believe Nova would move from the Big East to the AAC. It would be a step down.

check first , number # 1 endowment # 2 academics # 3 number student enrollment #4 athletics budget # 5 tv market in wichtia ks and finally # 6 number high attendance either basketball or football

Villanova blocked Temple for years from the Big East. Temple will NOT allow Nova to go to the AAC without kicking and screaming.
