RE: Memphis Tigers Mid-Season Outlook
I boycotted last season in order to get Pastner fired, but I have been back on board this season and it is the most fun I have had watching the Tigers since the Calipari years. We would probably have a losing record this year if Pastner was still around.

False...

Same record most likely, maybe 1 more loss with Charlie Moore and Marshall possibly still in the fold.

Crawford would be languishing on the bench if Woodson would have stayed as well

Pastner would have handed out condoms to Marshall?

Woodson I'm not so sure, I think he was done with Memphis. I'm sure that Pastner's crack recruiting team would have had a comparable replacement though.

Moore would have depended almost entirely on Damon.

Crawford would have been behind whoever replaced Woodson.

Pastner would have recruited more depth, but it would have been miss managed so I think the record would have been worse.

RE: Memphis Tigers Mid-Season Outlook
Woodson was already gone, as was Nick. Moore - who knows. May have also lost Dedric or Markel or Jeremiah or fill-in-the-blank.

I think the recruiting word was out on Pastner, and his strong suit was trending bad quickly.

If we lost to Tulane, ECU and CBU in the past couple of years, it's easy to see at least 3 more losses already this year under him (UAB, Oklahoma, USC, Iowa, etc.).

We fell apart last year once conference play started, the wins we won looked lucky to win.
I think we're getting better as conference play is starting this year.
We have a legit chance to make the tournament in my eyes.

If CJP was here, Crawford wouldn't be doing what he's doing ...

Charlie Moore was NOT coming if Pastner had stayed

And how do we know he would have played him enough anyway ? Moore is avg 3 turns a game. He woulda been Pookie'd

No one has watched Georgia Tech play this year?

Same as always.

Wouldn't have been any different in year 8.

Believe that.
