Not sure Chad will help much in February. His conditioning and lack of mobility prior to the injury limited his minutes. I can't see how any of that will improve after being out several months.

Maybe he was working on upper body while he was out. Needs some big guns to help at the post.
That would have been a good plan.

If he still can't hit FTs when he returns that will let you know how much he cares about Basketball.

http://www.rpiforecast.com/teams/Memphis.html

There is another site, and sorry i cannot remember what it is...but it projects tourney chances based on final win numbers.

While I do not really predict we will get to these numbers...23 wins was something like a 23% chance while 24 wins was something like 72%. 25 was a lock.

Sitting at 16-6 now with 9 games left...so basically any loss more than one must be matched by a conference tourney win, so to speak. 8-1 will be incredibly difficult, but two road wins this coming week would make a nice 18-6.

?
6 weeks in a boot will solve a lifelong of mediocre FT shooting? Not following you here.
Hard to practice even stationary shooting with any mobility issues.

We will see...But he has been in and out of the boot for 3 weeks...So that is one thing he could have done. If it is all you can do to improve your game while out you should come back shooting better than 32%. He shot better than 50% in high school

Disagree... legs are (should be) used when shooting free throws.

He should try bouncing FT's off his knee. I bet he could get 1/3 of them in with practice.

Absolutely. You try any kind of shooting while your mobility is restricted and you will get some bad habits quickly.

I hope he comes back strong. That poor guy has been through hell in his career with the injuries, it would be nice to see him back and playing well

I think everyone is rooting for him to do well, but it might be next year, if he gets a medical, before we see it.

Per bleacher report, Chad still is not practicing.

On a personal note, I'm not surprised.i was in the ER today with a woman who had a dislocated ankle. Absolutely gruesome.

I don't know if I'd ever hit the court again.

No, you're thinking of Crystal Belle.

Tubby said on the coaches show he would be practicing within a week. And then he said, if Chad is cleared to play, then he will play.
