I'm thinking that won't last more than next year with Kelly on the hot seat but worth the chance & bump I suppose. Wish him well but he ought to be thinking what he'll do after next season.

I'm thinking that won't last more than next year with Kelly on the hot seat but worth the chance & bump I suppose. Wish him well but he ought to be thinking what he'll do after next season.

Gotta do it.. probably 2 times the money and if there Coach gets fired after next year he can always go back to a non P5 pretty easily.. As long as our Coaches are successful this will continue every year.. Most all Coaches from non P5's are gonna take a P5 job if offered.. They know they can get a job at lesser schools if something happens..

Didn't want out of Memphis..He is doing what is best for him...Those P5 jobs are paying 2X what Memphis can pay...His salary will 700K or more..that is not wanting to get out of Memphis...that is what happens when you are a good OC in the AAC

Mike Norvell is the OC at Memphis. Chip long was just running Norvells offense.
