Good question. Penny had a couple that occurred pretty close together. For some reason, I'm thinking Burrell, of all people, nearly got one. No telling about those players in the 50s and 60s.

Correct.Penny had 2(back to back I think) and AA had his against Lamar.Three total triple doubles in the history of the program.

Will Barton got close once or twice, too, IIRC.

The day after AA got his, I was talking to a UK fan. He mentioned at the time that UK had never had one. And he knows his stuff. I found that crazy. Wonder if they've had one in the Cal era?

You would think Rondo or Wall would have. Rondo always had weird stats. He would get nearly 20 rebounds but only 5 points.

Dedric was close in the UAB game with Points/rebounds/blocks at 24/10/8. That would have been impressive... still was...

I know it is not men's basketball, but a former player on the women's team holds probably the most unique triple double. Kalara McFadyen had a triple double with no points. Was at that game in the band.

They have had 2 this year by Fox and Briscoe to go along with one by Chris Mills back in 88.Three total in their history.

So if Mills had one, then my UK friend doesn't know his stuff as well as I thought.

Was watching the Washington/Oregon game last night and they mentioned that UCLA only had 4 triple doubles in their history. Bill Walton had one of them. Triple doubles in college are very rare

I remember seeing David Robinson get one at Navy.

Lester Hudson (UT Martin) is the only player ever in college basketball to have a quadruple double; 25 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists, and 10 steals in the 2008-9 season.

Considering the amount of games played that's not a lot. Shaq is tied for first in his college career with 6.
